Superintendent Keiryn Dermody APM has served in the Queensland Police Service for more than thirty years as an operational police officer in large metropolitan areas and rural and remote communities. Superintendent Dermody has also served in corporate roles including police prosecutions, sport and recreation and crime prevention as the State Coordinator of the Queensland Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association and now as the Commander of Protective Services Group.
Superintendent Dermody received the Australian Police Medal for her work at the QPCYWA and obtained a Masters in Business Administration in 2012.
