
Senior Constable Lisa Rosenberg has been employed by WA Police Force for over 30 years. Her husband is a serving police officer, and she has two children, one who is a serving police officer in Regional Western Australia.
Lisa commenced her career as a Police Cadet in 1988 and graduated from the Police Academy in 1991.
She has worked in metropolitan and regional Western Australia on the frontline, prosecuting support and including a multitude of investigative roles.
In 2011 she became a Forensic Officer working as a District Forensic Investigation Officer with time also spent working at the Fingerprint Bureau.
In 2021 she was transferred to Special Crime Squad as an investigator working on historic cases with Familial DNA matches to create family trees and identify offenders.
In 2022 through research Lisa identified Investigative Genetic Genealogy as a possible investigative tool. She commenced research and studied in numerous areas of genetic genealogy and applied that knowledge in her workplace.
In 2023 she assisted in formation of a team within Special Crime Squad Homicide applying Investigative Genetic Genealogy to unsolved investigations.
