Mr Sean Kelly is Manager of the State Intelligence Fusion Capability within the Queensland Police Service. Mr Kelly has held this role since 2019. The aim of the work unit is to pre-position the Queensland Police, through the fusion of contextual information, intelligence and the development of strategies and tactics, to influence the crime environment and maximise its ability to prevent, disrupt, investigate and respond to crime.
Prior to joining the Queensland Police, Mr Kelly held numerous executive level roles in the Commonwealth Government with the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, Australian Federal Police, in which he was the inaugural AFP Liaison Officer to the then Office of the Counter-Terrorism Coordinator and the Attorney-General’s Department. Mr Kelly hold holds a Degree in Security, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism.
