Justin Gallagher is a former Detective from the NSW Police Force where he served for 15 years, specialising in arson, financial and technology-enabled crime, before joining Uber in 2018 as the Law Enforcement Liaison for Australia and New Zealand.
Since then, he has taken up the position of Senior Manager, Public Safety Liaison with responsibility for all law enforcement and public health engagement throughout Australia, New Zealand and North Asia. The role involves developing innovative solutions to work with public safety agencies while promoting Uber’s commitment to safety, privacy and transparency. This includes providing support to critical incidents and investigative response in the pursuit of community safety.
