Jessica Hnidec is the Senior Social Media & Communications Officer for the Queensland Police Service. In her role, she supports the creation and delivery of social and digital media content with a focus on reducing fear within communities and encouraging positive outcomes for the QPS.
For the DICE Media team, Jess ensures sentiment, conversations and incidents within communities across Queensland are captured and analysed to create localised solutions, particularly in the youth crime space. She is passionate about engaging with Queensland communities to drive education on public safety, improve perceptions of policing and create authentic relationships.
