Gary is the Managing Director of World Policing Global Advisory division, part of the Policing TV and Policing Insight Company: He leads teams delivering innovation and related advisory to global policing clients to ensure future generations receive excellence in public safety.
An accomplished executive leader with a focus on digitisation, innovation, and people-centered strategies, Gary has a proven track record of aligning strategy, politics, and people to drive quality outcomes. He has a passion for the areas where technology meets humans, and how technology can be used as an enabler for human excellence. He previously served as a senior police leader in the U.K. and Australia and held executive positions in technology and consulting organisations where he uses his polymathic skillset to stretch thinking, and capability to create collaborative, better prepared and innovative organisations.
In addition to his career, Gary serves as a board member of the Citizens Advice Bureau in Australia, drawing on his extensive experience in law enforcement across Australia and the UK to offer a specialist approach to leadership, growth and equality of access to legal advice for everyone. Gary is also studying for a PhD examining human decision making in children missing from home investigations.
