Dion Sheppard is the manager of LumiTM Drug Scan, a new team created at ESR to support the development and delivery of the Lumi Drug Scan service. Dion has a Masters in Forensic Science and a Masters in Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship. After an initial career as a forensic scientist involved in crime scene examinations, Dion spent 6 years leading ESR’s Forensic Research & Development Team focused on developing innovate solutions for forensic science and law enforcement applications. One of these projects, Lumi Drug Scan, has now evolved from the R&D phase and into a fully formed service for law enforcement.
