Detective Inspector George Fenwick joined SAPOL in 1990 and after several years working general patrols in both metropolitan and regional areas, he developed a keen interest in covert policing.
Detective Inspector Fenwick has completed postings as operator, supervisor and Officer in Charge of multiple covert policing disciplines. He has been a detective since 2002 and has performed investigator duties in specialist, metropolitan and regional postings.
Detective Inspector Fenwick was Commissioned in 2022 when he commenced his current role as Officer in Charge of SAPOL’s Counter Terrorism and Security Section.
Detective Inspector Fenwick has a long association with ANZCTC performing the role of Surveillance Capability representative and now as the Investigations representative.
