Appointed Commissioner of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC) in December 2019 and Controller of the Papua New Guinea Response to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic since February 2020. David is a results-oriented leader with over 20 years’ experience in delivering Security and Community Policing to the Papua New Guinea people.
Committed to developing an innovative police force that demonstrates excellence in every facet of its business, David is leading his executive team through a transformative phase, with a focus on developing sound policy and governance. His experience in working with diverse cultural groups extends beyond his immediate policing environment, working in partnership with the public and private sectors to achieve outcomes that benefit PNG more broadly.
