David Miles hails from, the NT with Aboriginal heritage from the Arrernte, Anmatyerre and Warumungu people of Central Australia.
David has been employed with the Northern Territory Police for over a decade.
Prior to this, he has worked in Health, Education & Youth working in regional and remote settings across the NT.
David commenced his policing career as an Aboriginal Community Police Officer (ACPO) before transitioning to a Constable.
Currently attached to the Community Resilience and Engagement Command (CREC) David’s roles include mentoring, guiding, and supporting all Aboriginal employees within NT Police, providing leadership and supervision, mentoring and advocacy to improve capacity and resilience.
