Mr Juki Fong Chew has been acting as Fiji Police Force Commissioner since January 2023. Mr Fong Chew has had an extensive law enforcement career spanning over 30 years, having enlisted in Fiji Police Force in January 1989. He has wide ranging law enforcement experience, accumulated during operational and administrative deployments across the Fijian Islands and around the globe. Highlights of his career include deployments on international peacekeeping missions to Liberia (UNMIL) and South Sudan (UNMISS), and has participated in multiple international courses and fora. Mr Fong Chew has been an early adopter of technology to assist in Pacific policing and continues to advocate for technical solutions to supplement police methodologies.
